In 2016, Packer served as the executive producer of ABC’s comedy series “Uncle Buck”, as well as “Roots”, an A&E Networks reboot of one of the most acclaimed TV shows ever. He worked as an executive producer on the blockbuster “Straight Outta Compton”, biopic of the rap group N.W.A, which debuted at number one and has since made over $200 million. “Think like a Man”, “No Good Deed”, “Takers”, “Ride Along”, Ride along 2”, “Obsessed” and “Stomp the Yard” are among Packer’s top movies. Packer produced and oversaw the company’s studio-financed and self-financed films as well as distribution ventures. The goal of Packer and Hardy was to create movies that would appeal to black viewers who hadn’t seen genre movies with characters who looked like themselves.
